Kali ini saya mau mebagikan jawaban soal cerita bahasa inggris Vanity and Pride. Berawal dari saya dikasi tugas ini, dan banyak yang kebingungan dengan jawabannya, jadi saya berusah untuk membuat jawabannya. Saya share di blog ini supaya kalian semua bisa menjawabnya. Sebelumnya maaf jika ada kata hasil translate yang salah, saya cuma ingin membantu. 

Jawaban Soal Cerita Vanity And Pride

1.What do you think of Madame Loisel ? Do you know anyone who who has the same personality as Madame Loisel ? How are they alike ? Please describe. (Apa yang kamu pikirkan tentang Madame Loisel ? Apakah kamu tahu seseorang yang punya kepribadian sama seperti Madame Loisel ? Bagaimana mereka kelihatannya ? Coba jelaskan.)

Answer : Madame Loisel is really arogant because of her beauty and she also would not be gratefull for what she has now. Yes, who has same personality is snow white stepmother. She is witch who like to be a beautiful woman in this world and she would kill anybody who more beautiful than her. (Madeame Loisel sangat sombong akan kecantikannya dan dia juga tidak mau bersyukur atas apa yang dia miliki sekarang. Ya, yang punya kepribadian sama adalah ibu tirinya putri salju. Dia adalah penyihir yang ingin menjadi orang tercantik di dunia dan dia akan membunuh siapa saja yang lebih cantik daripada dia.)

2.In the beginning of the play, Madame Loisel was very sad and unsatisfied. Why was she sad and unsatisfied ? What did she want ? Support your answer with examples from the play.

Answer : She sad and unsatisfied because she hope to has rich handsome husband, but she get the ugly and little clerk. Example from the story is in first paragraph at sentence : Her tastes were simple because she had never been able to  afford any other, but she was as unhappy as though she had married beneath her  status; for women have no caste or class, their beauty, grace, and charm serving them for birth or family.

3.Why do you think Madame Loisel borrowed the necklace from her friend ?

Answer : Because she said : "Of Course ! I can borrow something suitable from Jeane" and  "I have lost Madame Forestier necklace"

4.Do you think she has a good time at the ball ? Support your answer with reasons.

Answer : Yes she does, because everyone see her and fell that she has to get it back earlier.

5.Do you think Madame Loisel's longing for higher-class ruined her ? Support your answer with reasons

Answer : Yes, she lost the necklace and then become a maid to pay off the missing necklace.

6. What event brought about the beginning of new life for Monsieur and Madame Loiser ? Did this event change their life for better or worse ? Give reason to support your answer.

Answer : The event change their life to better, because they have working harder and they start to be grateful for their new life.

7.Why do you think they didn't tell Madame Foresteir that they had lost the necklace ? Giver reasons to support your answer.

Answer : I think she is ashmed because she has lost the necklace and she has had nothing at that time. So, she decidet didn't tell her friend.

8.Did the ending of the play suprise you ? What kind of ending did you expect explain ?

Answer : Yes, the ending is very suprising. I expect the diamond is real, not an imitation.

9.What is the moral from the story ? Disscus what you learned from the story.

Answer : The moral is to be grateful for what you have and dont want anyhing that is beyond our ability for unimportant things. In this story we can look from madame loisel who wants a diamond for only one day party.

10.If you had a chance to rewrite the story, how would the story end ? Write the new ending fot the story. 

Answe : The end of the story which I want is the diamond which is given by Madame Forestier actually real so Madame Forensteir will be grateful for his life and he will start to help her husband to work hard.
